The Coşkunöz Educational Foundation was established in 1988 by Mehmet Kemal Coşkunöz, who was himself a technical high school teacher and was an innovator in many fields in the Bursa industry. The foundation was formed with the vision of contributing to vocational education, gaining trained, technical personnel for the industry and, most importantly, giving unemployed youngsters the chance to gain a profession. The Foundation’s income comes from the Coşkunöz Holding companies’ profits and 80% of this is used towards technical education. Ever since the Coşkunöz Educational Foundation was set up, it has followed changes within vocational education and has contributed to the progress of the country. It provides technical education as required by the private and public sector and the community, and continues its activities as an insitution that can be benchmarked on national and international platforms. The Bursa Coşkunöz Educational Foundation holds a “public benefit foundation” status.
