Holding Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Policies

It is the joint responsibility of all staff, starting from upper management, to prevent any negative effects on the environment that may arise from the Coşkunöz Holding companies’ activities; prevent work-related accidents and create a healthy, secure working environment.

       Çevre ve İş Sağlığı güvenliği konusunda temel ilkelerimiz;

  • All environment and Occupational Health & Safety-related laws should be complied with, at the same time customers’ requirements should be met,
  • All our stakeholders, particularly our staff and suppliers, should be trained accordingly,
  • A healthy and safe working environment should be provided in order to prevent work-related illnesses and accidents,
  • Any wastage arising from our companies’ production and support activities, particularly sheet metal/rubber waste, should be controlled and improved upon,
  • Pollution should be prevented at the source, if prevention is not possible, it should be kept under strict control,
  • Productive usage of our resources,
  • It is our fundamental principle to constantly improve our Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental performance.

We hereby undertake to carry and guard these principles that we have adopted as the COŞKUNÖZ family through to all our activities and work modes.

 

Our ‘Lean’ Policies

At all the Coşkunöz Holding companies it is our fundamental responsibility to eradicate wastefulness in our value chain and focus on creating exceptional value for the customer. It is possible by using our resources to create more value, increase the profitability and competitiveness of our companies, increase customer satisfaction and continually decrease wastefulness in our management and production systems. By embracing ‘lean thinking’ we have made it our principle to contribute to increasing the wealth of society by ensuring that the ‘lean systems’ are adopted by all our suppliers and in all our business fields, thus reaching operational perfection. Important factors for reaching our targets regarding the Lean policy in the Coşkunöz Holding companies are:

  • Respect of people is a primary value for us. This value covers all our staff, customers, suppliers and generally all of society. All our communications are built on the need to understand and have faith in each other.
  • With our “If I do something, I must be the best” principle, we try constantly to improve all work and processes.
  • We support our principle of “lifelong learning” with training to develop our staff’s personal performance and skills. We encourage and support team work and a shared management approach.
  • Whilst shaping our dreams with a long-term vision, our strategies and targets have been universalized in all stages of our organisation so that we can move towards these targets together. Whilst defining our work plans and actions to be taken we aim for unanimity, making correct and quick decisions and fixing problems correctly and at their source.
  • Our greatest support in ensuring that the “lean” production and management system is put into practice in all the Coşkunöz Holding companies and making it one of our core competencies, part of our culture, is the strong leadership and commitment to change of our directors.
